Garden Programs

Learning garden

The Mount Paul Community Food Centre has an 8,000 square foot learning garden that produces an abundance of organic produce.  The garden offers a hands-on experience in a supportive setting for how to plant and grow local whole foods. 

 

Garden Drop In Hours: Tuesday and Thursday, 9- 12pm

May Garden Workshops:

  • June 2nd: Garden Workshop: Grasslands and Why They’re Important with Mike Dedels from the Grasslands Conservation Council. 3-4:30pm. Free to attend.

  • June 18th: Garden Workshop: Growing food in Dry Climates. Join us for a conversational workshop where we discuss strategies and techniques to maximize your garden and save water while growing food. 4-5:30pm. Free to attend.

 

Garden Workshops are free to attend. Registration required: email emackay@interiorcommunityservices.bc.ca to secure your spot.

community gardens

Interior Community Services and the Mount Paul CFC manage eight community gardens across the City of Kamloops.  Individuals are able to rent plots to garden for their own household.
