the market

The Market is open to sell affordable produce every Tuesday from
10 am - 2 pm!

As part of The Market, we will also be offering a produce voucher program. This 20-week program provides enrolled participants with vouchers to help with the purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables.  We’re looking to work with adults 18+ who are;

  • Currently managing a chronic illness and require food as part of their therapy.

  • Looking for ways to stretch the weekly food budget.

  • Able to access The Market on a regular basis.

  • Willing to participate in anonymous survey questions as a program participant.

If this sounds like you or someone you know, please contact Chris at 236-421-1011 to find out more and to see if this program is a good fit for you.

What is the Greens Rx program?

The Market Greens Rx program was created to make it easier for people living with chronic illnesses to access fresh fruits and vegetables.

People who are eligible and enrolled in the Greens Rx program will be supported for 20 weeks to buy fresh fruits and vegetables at Mount Paul Community Food Centre’s market. The exact amount will be based on the number of people in the person’s house and will be discussed during the registration step.
